moeymarc > What amazed me most about the inside of this cathedral was the detail in the carvings. I took this with a flash. These were carved long before electric lights. Talk about strain on the eyes!
moeymarc > The photos below are all of the only town in Brittany we visited, Dinan. And, as I told my dad, if I ever disappear without telling anyone, this is where you'll find me. It is THE most charming town in the whole world. Right up there with Siena, Italy. I mean, I LOVED this place. Check out why... We stared out tour of Dinan at dawn. This tower is just beautiful. Yes, that's rain.

moeymarc > This town is surrounded by one of those mediaeval walls with towers! It looks like something out of a movie set. It's all still intact. We read in one of our guide books that there was a way to climb on top, so we went searching. That's dad.

moeymarc > And, the view from the top. You can see that tower that I took pictures of in the dark. The houses are all so cute.
moeymarc > The streets are very steep and narrow. All cobblestone. The houses are so cute! Lots of color is used on the wooden parts. There are many half-timber houses in this town. That's a street light hanging above my head.
